Let your students use their creativity by becoming geologic time travel agents. Students will become experts on an era of geologic time before making marketing material to educate and encourage their "clients" to visit their geologic era.
 
Students will need to research their era of geologic time noting the life present in that era, the era's periods and epochs, and environmental factors during that time.
 
This product is PowerPoint file that includes a link to a Google Slides version of the activity. In the presentation, a basic template for a brochure is included if students would like to create a brochure for their marketing material.
 
I teach block classes (80 minutes) and usually give my students 3 blocks to complete this activity. A rubric is not included at this time but will be coming in the near future.
