Rock research with a fun twist!
 
Your students will "adopt" a new pet, a rock! As any good pet owner would, your students will be tasked with learning everything they can about their new friend!
 
Worksheets are included that will help guide students' research. For the final product, students are asked to create a poster, paper OR digital, to showcase their new pet rock!
 
At the end of the project, have a pet show-and-tell and let your students teach their classmates all about their pet rocks!
